I was excited to find today's thoughts from Carson to be exactly what I had studied just a few minutes ago in Phil. 3! Anyone doing Mining God's Word should read this post from D.A. Carson! One surprise: I didn't realize that the enemies of the cross, referred to in vs. 18-19, were probably believers or those who masqueraded as believers! I always thought they were unbelievers mocking the cause of Christ. Beware of the dogs...follow the example of those who are mature believers walking in the pattern of the Word! -Leeanne
